Yamaha Motor has recently launched the new RAYZR Street Rally 125 in Nepal. MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha scooters in Nepal, has announced the launch of a new RAYZR with Bluetooth connect in the Nepalese market. According to the company,  the new model is also claimed to be 16% more fuel-efficient than before. The new scooters fall under Yamaha’s “The Call of the Blue” campaign which is a part of the company's plan to expand its portfolio of Hybrid scooter offerings in Nepal.

The new RAYZR is equipped with Yamaha’s Bluetooth-enabled Yamaha Motorcycle Connect-X App. The Scooter Connect-X app has features like answer back, battery voltage, parking record, e-lock, locating your bike, riding history, and so on. Similarly, the Y-Connect app offers features like call and SMS alerts, battery level of the connected mobile phone, malfunction notification, rev dashboard, fuel consumption, maintenance notification, and so on. The Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system also provides benefits such as a quiet engine start system and automatic start-stop feature.

The new Yamaha RayZR comes with the same engine as the previous model. This 125cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected, blue core engine offers 8.2 hp power at 6,500 rpm and 10.3 Nm peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The scooter comes with the disc brakes at the front and a drum at the rear including a Unified Braking System. It comes with features such as a multi-function key with seat opener, power assist indicator, LED Headlights with aggressive styling updates, and LED position lamps. The scooter also receives 21-liter under-seat storage. It also gets metal plates, colored wheel stripes, brush guards, and block pattern tires.

Yamaha Ray ZR 125 FI price in Nepal starts at NRs. 2.54 Lakhs to NRs. 2.79 Lakhs and is available in two different variants. It is available in seven different color options including Red, Yellow, Black, Dark Purple, and Cyan for the Standard variant, Racing Blue and Green.
